Book & Hold
What is Book & Hold?
Search flights and send a request with no online payment. A reservation officer contacts you within 24 hours with a confirmed quote.
Why don't I pay online?
Bhutan Airlines does not sell tickets directly on this website. All bookings from Thailand are handled by OMG Experience, the appointed General Sales Agent. When you submit a Book & Hold request, no card details are taken. When you are ready to pay, staff advise you on bank transfer.
What happens after I submit my request?
Within 24 hours, a reservation officer contacts you by email or phone, checks seat availability, confirms the fare and explains the hold period before any payment.
How long are my seats held?
Hold length varies by fare type, travel dates and demand. Your officer confirms the exact expiry when they contact you. Submitting a request does not guarantee seats until availability is confirmed.
Are the fares on this site final?
Fares shown are starting prices in THB inclusive of taxes. The OMG Experience Team provides a written quote for your party before any payment.
Can I book for a group?

Routes, visas & entry
Which routes fly from Bangkok?
Paro (PBH) daily, Kolkata (CCU) daily and Gaya (GAY) seasonally. See Destinations for schedules.
Do Bangkok–Paro flights stop in Kolkata?
Some services operate via Kolkata, extending total journey time to about 4 hours 30 minutes.
Do I need a visa for Bhutan?
Most visitors need a visa before travel, plus the SDF. See Bhutan visa and SDF on our travel information pages.
What is the SDF?
Currently USD 100 per adult, per night (reduced rate until 31 August 2027), paid separately from your air fare. See SDF.
Do I need a visa for India?
Most nationalities require an India visa for Gaya, Kolkata or transit connections. Apply via the India e-Visa portal.

Is booking through OMG Experience official?
Yes. OMG Experience is the appointed General Sales Agent (GSA) of Bhutan Airlines in Thailand — the official local sales channel, not a third-party reseller.

What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
Change and cancellation rules depend on the fare type confirmed at booking. Your reservation officer explains applicable fees and deadlines before you pay.
